The user uses complicated vocabulary, and an air of false confidence, to convince listeners that they are an expert in a particular subject, regardless of their actual skills.
The target(s) roll a Wisdom save , where the DC is the user's INT
If the target fails the save, they are convinced that the speaker is an expert in the topic being discussed. The effect lasts until something betrays their ignorance.
If they succeed on the save, they are aware the user is trying to fool them, and react accordingly.
Baffling Vernacular always fails on a target who is a genuine expert in the "target topic"
