You've trained your skills wielding the crossbow to higher potentials. After a long series of trial and error you've mastered the skills of sniping using the crossbow. While you are using a crossbow that isn't a hand crossbow you gain the following benefits:
- While you are prone you do not gain disadvantage on attack rolls for being prone, or attacking a prone creature if you have clear sight on that creature.
- While prone, before an attack roll, while you don't have disadvantage, you can use a bonus action to give yourself a +5 to hit or a +5 to the damage roll. You cannot gain the damage bonus of the Sharpshooter feat.
- While prone you gain a +50 ft. to your minimal range and +100 ft. to your maximum range. The extra range does not benefit from the Sharpshooter feat.
