Through painstaking experiments and intense studying, you have discovered the art of extending spells.
All spells you cast can last up to twice their duration, provided that up to twice their materials are spent.
For example, Black Tentacles may be extended by using a slice of tentacle, while Magic Mouth would require an additional 5gp of materials to extend the duration to 15 rounds (1.5 minutes).
Spells that have no material component are still affected, such as Expeditious Retreat or True Strike but require an appropriate material to be cast extended, thus being subject to material spell rules - the aforementioned materials could be a Hawk Feather or Small Divination Bead respectively.
Any spell which has the duration instantaneous is unaffected, even if that spell has secondary effects that have a duration, such as Create Undead, Goodberry, or Time Stop.
