The time you have spent training with thrown weapons makes them that much more deadly in your hands. You gain the following benefits.
- You gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls you make with any weapon that has the thrown property.
- Deadly Throw: When you make a ranged attack with a weapon containing the thrown property, treat any die as one higher. A d4 to a d6 (dagger, light hammer, darts) and a d6 to a d8 (handaxe, javelin, spear, and trident.) (This benefit has no effect if another feature has already improved the weapon’s die.)
- The Back End: When you have disadvantage on a ranged attack with a weapon containing the thrown property, the target takes bludgeoning damage equal to your Strength modifier (minimum of 1) if the attack misses but the higher of the two d20 rolls would have hit. (You may choose your strength or dexterity modifier if the weapon has the finesse property)
- Counter Attack: When a ranged weapon attack would hit you from a source you can see; if able, you may use your reaction to make a counter ranged thrown weapon attack at the incoming projectile (at disadvantage if the incoming projectile has the ammunition property). If your attack roll exceeds the incoming attack roll, the weapon is knocked out of the air and does not hit you.
