Greater Mark of Detection

Your dragonmark increases in power, greatly improving your investigative capabilities. You gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Intelligence or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• The die you add to ability checks using your Deductive Intuition trait changes to a d6.
• You learn the scrying spell and can cast it once without expending a spell slot or material components. You regain the ability to cast it in this way when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

Option: Siberys Mark of Detection
At the DM’s option, a character who has the Greater Mark of Detection feat has a chance of manifesting even greater power: a Siberys dragonmark. Upon reaching 13th level, such a character has a 10 percent chance of gaining the following benefit:

• You learn the true seeing spell and can cast it once without expending a spell slot or material components. You regain the ability to cast it in this way when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this spell.

If the character fails to gain this benefit, they have a 10 percent chance the next time they gain a level.
