Restricted to human variant only. You follow the old norse gods. People in your tribe come of age at age 7 and pray to a specific god of your choosing in the nordic pantheon.
Upon praying to the god of your choice you gain lycanthropic abilities for the spirit animal of that god as listed below.
You can only shift into your hybrid form a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest. Each shift takes an action.
You can stay in your shifted form for an hour or until you fall unconscious.
You gain extra bonuses at Level 10 for each option.
Odin
When you choose this god you can shift into a half-raven form. At level 5 you gain flight equal to your walking speed while shifted. You also gain an unarmed strike with your beak and talons (talons only while flying). Your beak and talon attacks are Dexterity based and you count as proficient in them. Your beak does 1d6 piercing damage and your talons do 1d8 slashing damage. At Level 10 You gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Giant Raven. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Giant Raven. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Thor
When you choose this god you can shift into a half-bear form. In this form your AC goes up by plus 1 and you gain an unarmed attack with claws and bite. These attacks use your Strength and you count as proficient in them. Claws are 1d8 slashing damage and bite is 1d6 piercing damage. At Level 10 you gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Grizzly Bear. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Grizzly Bear. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Freya
When you chose this god you can shift into a half-panther form. You gain dark vision of 60 feet while shifted. You gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed while shifted and can attack with claws and bite. Claws deal 1d6 slashing damage and bite deals 1d6 piercing damage. These attacks use your Dexterity and you count as proficient in them. At Level 10 you gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Panther. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Panther. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Frigga
When you choose this god you can shift into a half-owl form. At level 5 you gain flight equal to your walking speed while shifted. While shifted you also gain advantage on perception checks that use sight and count as proficient in them if you aren’t normally. You also gain an unarmed strike with your talons only while flying. Your talon attack is Dexterity based and you count as proficient in it. Your talons do 1d8 slashing damage. At Level 10 you gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to to shift into a Giant Owl. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Giant Owl. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Loki
When you choose this god you can shift into a half-snake form. In this form your walking speed doubles and you gain resistance to poison damage. While shifted you also gain a bite attack with your fangs. Your fangs are Dexterity based and you count as proficient in them. Fangs deal 1d6 piercing damage. At level 5 when you successfully attack with your fangs you can attempt to poison the target with then venom in your fangs as a bonus action. The target makes a Constitution Saving throw equal to 10 plus your proficiency bonus. On a failed save the target takes 1d8 poison damage and is poisoned. On a success they take half damage and are not poisoned. At Level 10 You gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Giant Poisonous Snake. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Giant Poisonous Snake. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Freyr
When you choose this god you can shift into a half-boar form. In this form you grow tusks and can use them to make and attack. This attack is called a gore attack which is Strength based and you are proficient in it. The target takes 1d8 piercing damage. As a bonus action if you successful hit with the gore attack you can rend the wound dealing an additional 1d8 of slashing damage. Also when in this form you can dash as a bonus action. At Level 10 you gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Giant Boar. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Giant Boar. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Aegir
When you choose this god you can shift into a half squid or kraken form. When in this form you gain a swim speed of 50 and can breathe underwater. While underwater you have advantage on all grapple checks. While grappling an opponent you can attempt to crush them. The target must make a Strength saving throw against a DC of 8 + your Strength modifier + you proficiency bonus or take 2d8 crushing damage. On a success they take no damage. At Level 10 you gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Giant Octopus. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Giant Octopus. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Ran
When you choose this god you can shift into a half-snapping turtle form. While in this form you gain an AC bonus of +2. You also gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed and can breathe air and water. You also gain a bite attack that uses Strength and you are proficient in it. Bite attack deals 2d8 crushing damage. At Level 10 you gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Giant Snapping Turtle. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Giant Snapping Turtle. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
Tyr
When you choose this god you can shift into a half-wolf form. In this form you gain dark vision of 60 feet and your walking speed increases by 20. You also gain a bite and claw attack. These attacks use Strength and you count as proficient in them. Bite deals 1d10 piercing damage and claws deal 1d6 slashing damage. At Level 10 you gain Beast Form, giving you the ability to shift into a Dire Wolf. You assume the Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution of a Dire Wolf. You can stay in Beast Form for 1 hour or until you fall unconscious.
