Prerequisite: Requires a Charisma score of 13 or higher
You have made a pact with an eldritch entity, granting you access to two of the following benefits of your choice:
- You gain access to the Hex spell, if you have no spell slots you may cast the spell using this feat once without expending materials or spell slots once before taking a long rest.
- You gain one Eldritch Invocation of your choice that does not have a level requirement (you MUST meet any other requirements listed)
- You gain either the Pact of the Chain, Pact of the Blade, or Pact of the Tome feature.
- You gain proficiency in one skill on the warlock skill list.

Posted Apr 30, 2020It goes without saying, but if a player chooses this feat, the DM should consider the nature of the pact made. While the power this pact provides is not as great as taking levels in the Warlock class, the player is still giving something for the power they gain; of course, DMs may choose to have no consequence to taking this feat, but there is a lot of potential for a fun story!

Posted Oct 24, 2020Should a Warlock be allowed to take this, and gain an additional Pact? I'm a bit torn on the topic.

Posted Oct 23, 2022Very late response, but I would argue that for the most part those features are utility/flavor and not overall the real power of the class (besides, perhaps, pact of the blade which is most useful for hexblade and will usually be the go to choice in that case anyways). As such, I say go for it. Additionally, Warlocks as is have generally narrow build paths and giving them more tools sounds perfectly fine to me.
