Prerequesite: Must be a 5th level spellcaster or higher; must have the "War Caster" or "Ritual Caster" feat
When you take this feat, your ability to focus on spells increases significantly, and the need to concentrate on your spells decreases. When you cast a spell that requires Concentration, you can cast that spell at no less than twice the spell level to negate the need to maintain that Concentration (i.e. a 3rd level spell must be cast at 6th level to achieve this effect). When casting a spell in this manner, you must consume the higher level spell slot. However, the spell behaves as if it were cast at its original level, with the exception being the lack of concentration required.
Casting spells at higher levels in addition to the base requirement for this feat allows you to increase the spell's power normally (i.e. casting a 3rd level spell at 7th level with this feat allows the effects of that spell if cast at 4th level with no need for concentration).
