Your utilitarian companion can be any beast of 0 challenge rating. Certain environment restrictions may apply. Your companion can understand basic commands, like attack target, guard, come, and fetch. You can make a handle animal check to attempt to issue a complex command. Should you go unconscious your companion will complete its last command and then attempt to warn a known ally. You can only keep one utilitarian companion.
