Prerequisite: Strength 13 or higher.
You’ve developed the skills necessary to hold your own in close-quarters grappling. You gain the following benefits:
- Your Strength score increases by 1 to a maximum of 20.
- You have advantage on attack rolls against a creature you are grappling.
- You can use your action to try to pin a creature being grappled by you. To do so, make another opposed grapple check. If you succeed, the creature is restrained until the grapple ends, although you are not. You may pin only creatures up to one size larger than you.
- You may use your action on each subsequent turn to deal (1d4 + str modifier) of bludgeoning damage to the creature so restrained with a successful grapple check. If you have additional attacks, such as that granted to a fifth level fighter, you may attempt to inflict this damage once for each attack you possess. This does not apply to extra attacks granted by two weapon fighting.
