Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least one spell
You have practiced applying your spells upon your weapons in the midst of combat. This allows you to cast offensive spells simultaneously through your weapon attack. Casting spells in this manner follow the following rules:
- A spell cast using this feature expends it's spell slot as normal. A spell can be cast this way once and again after a Short or Long Rest.
- You may take a bonus action to infuse your basic attack with one spell you know that has a casting time of 1 action and not have an Area of Effect or a range of Self.
- If your weapon attack succeeds, the spell does as well. If your attack misses, your spell fails and applies any effects as if the target succeeded a saving throw.
- You can perform the somatic components of spells even when you have weapons or a shield in one or both hands.
