With this feat, you have the ability to bend one element of your choice. Bending is a form of martial art that allows a user to manipulate elemental energy and "bend" objects to their will. Earth benders can manipulate stones, sand, and dirt, fire benders can manipulate fire and smoke, air benders can manipulate wind, and water benders can manipulate water and ice.
As a bender, you can perform a "bending check" if you would like to use your powers. A bending check will use a D20 + Your Proficiency Bonus, for basic level bending.
You can also use a "Basic Bending Attack" in combat. This is a cantrip, and can be used at any time, provided that you have the necessary materials or surrounding to bend. Get creative with how you use this attack, your DM might award you bonus damage! Basic Bending Attack will use a +6 modifier to hit, and will do 1d10 damage absent any bonuses.
This feat is a prerequisite for the Advanced Elemental Bending feat.
