Prerequisite: Access to Wild Magic (i.e. Wild Magic Sorcerer subclass or Path of the Wild Soul (UA) Barbarian)
Child of Chaos
+1 to a primary stat (see below), call on elemental chaos to serve your commands
Damage, Buff, Magic Feat
Prerequisite: Must have access to Wild Magic (sorcerer, barbarian, etc.)
You learn to call on elemental chaos to serve your commands. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase one of your primary stats by 1 to a maximum of 20 -- rolled randomly (Charisma or Constitution for Sorcerer -- Strength or Constitution for a Barbarian).
- When you roll elemental damage for a spell you cast, you can reroll any roll of 1 on the elemental damage dice, but you must use the new roll, even if it is another 1.
- Whenever you cast a spell that deals elemental damage, you can cause motes of that element to wreathe you until the end of your next turn. The motes do not harm you or your possessions, and they shed bright dim light out to 30 feet. While the motes are present, any creature within 5 feet of you that hits you with a melee attack takes 1d4 elemental damage of the rolled type. Only one type of mote can be present at a time.
