You have mastered your ability to focus during battle.
By staying still on your turn you can focus on other things, and take another action. You cannot dash, dodge or hide with this action and you cannot cast two spells above level 0. However, you can cast a cantrip and then a spell above level 0 or vice versa.
By using your action to dash, you can focus on dodging attacks, and gain +2 AC until your next turn.
