- You can understand and communicate with beasts on a basic level, allowing you to express simple ideas and emotions to any beasts that can see or hear you
- At the discretion of your DM, you gain an animal companion of challenge rating 1/4 or lower. If you can already take an animal companion, the challenge rating of the beast you may take can be up to CR 1/2.
