Improved Breath Weapon

Your draconic powers grow, enabling you to push your breath weapon beyond its previous limits. You gain the following benefits:

• You regain the use of your breath weapon on a roll of 5-6 on a d6. You make this roll at the beginning of your turn and it takes no action.
• You gain empowerment points equal to your proficiency bonus. Each time you use your breath weapon you can expend one empowerment point (no action) to add one of the following benefits:
  • You can use your breath weapon as a bonus action
  • You can increase the damage by 2d6
  • You can double the range of your breath weapon (30-ft cone, or a 60-ft line that's 10-ft wide)
• You regain all of your empowerment points after a short rest
