An invisible force comes to your aid in times of need.
You gain a separate HP pool, which is equal to half of your max HP (rounded down).
- When another creature makes a successful attack roll against you, you can use your reaction to roll a Constitution saving throw. The save DC is equal to the creature's attack roll. Upon a successful save, the incoming damage is redirected to your bonus HP pool. If the damage suffered is greater than the number of HP in the bonus pool, you will take the remaining damage.
- Upon failing a saving throw against another creature's spell, you can use your reaction to roll a Constitution saving throw. The save DC is equal to the attacking spell's save DC. Upon a successful save, the incoming damage is redirected to your bonus HP pool. If the damage suffered is greater than the number of HP in the bonus pool, you will take the remaining damage.
- If you fail your reaction's Constitution saving throw, your reaction is used up for the round, but you take the damage as normal.
- Your bonus HP pool cannot be healed. Once it has dropped to 0, it cannot be used until you complete a long rest. Upon completion of a long rest, it will be restored fully.
