Any weapon that you make can have a gun mechanism attached to it. For instance, you can make gunchucks or really anything else that suits your fancy. You can fire your weapon as a bonus action depending on what the gun is it can range from a 1d4 to a 1d6. The gun you choose can add some disadvantages on your weapon depending on what it is. For example, adding shotguns to a light weapon can decrease the accuracy.
