• When you see a creature make an attack roll, ability check or saving throw, you can expend your reaction to subtract a d4 from that roll. On one attack roll, ability check or saving throw within the next 10 minutes you can add a d4 to that roll.

• When you see a creature make an attack roll, ability check or saving throw, you can expend your reaction to add a d4 to that roll. On one attack roll, ability check, saving throw or damage roll you make within the next 10 minutes, the dm can choose to subtract a d4 from that roll.

These effects can be applied before or after the roll, but before the effects are applied
