By physically inscribing dark runes within your heart, you have turned it to stone and made it a phylactery, granting yourself semi-lichdom. Your heart acts as a lich’s phylactery in that if you die (i.e. reduced to 0 hit points and fail 3 death saves) you are resurrected with full hit points exactly 1 hour after death. However, if your heart is destroyed, you die instantly and cannot be resurrected. Your heart may be destroyed from a natural 20 attack roll against you, or if it is deliberately destroyed after you are reduced to 0 hp. Finally, your heart can be separated from your body with no ill effects whatsoever, however if it is ever more than 10 feet away from you, it turns back into a normal heart and you die instantly. This feat turns your alignment to an evil alignment of your choice.
