Prerequisite: Must be a Warforged

Due to the systematic nature of your mind you gain the following benefits:

-Increase you Wisdom or Intelligence score by 1, to a maximum of 20

- You may gain 3 proficiencies. These proficiencies can be artisan's tools (vehicles are included in this category), a weapon proficiency, languages, gaming sets, or a musical instrument. You can only pick a maximum of 2 proficiencies from any one of the categories listed above.

(Example 1: The player picks Smith's tools [artisan's tools], Tinker's tools [artisan's tools], and Drums [musical instrument]. Example 2: The player picks proficiency with a flail [weapon proficiency], Drums [musical instrument], and Land vehicles [artisan's tools].)

- You can become proficient with artisan's tools (vehicles are included in this category), gaming sets, languages or musical instruments more quickly through the following method. To learn a new proficiency the Warforged first needs to be instructed for 8 hours, or 1 long rest, by someone (can be an NPC or a player) who has the proficiency that the Warforged wants to learn. After being taught the basics of the proficiency the Warforged needs to train in the skill. During long rests, or short rests, the player trains by rolling a 1d20 + proficiency bonus create a training value. After rolling the player records the training value, adding the values of each training session together. Once the combined training values total 200 the player may add half of their proficiency modifier when performing the skill. Once the combined training values total 400 the player becomes proficient in the skill.

(I recommend that the player should describe how they are training the skill, and if the DM deems that method worthy of bonuses the DM has the ability to increase the rate of training in whatever way they see fit.)

The following limitations also apply:

-A character can only train three times per day. This means that the character may only increase their training value totals three times per 24 hour period.

-A character can only increase the training value total of one skill by a maximum of 40 points per day. This means that you can train a single skill three times in a single day, but the total training value of that skill can only increase by 40 points that day.

-A character cannot train weapon proficiencies (DM's choice on this) or skills proficiencies. They can only train in tools, languages, gaming sets, or musical instruments.

-During the introductory instruction or training session only one skill may be trained at a time.

-When training a skill the character needs items associated with the skill.

-The training score does not count as the skill check. The player rolls once to get the training value and then a second time to actually perform the skill.

Recommendations section:

-First, keep track of what skills you are currently training.

-Second, keep track of the total training value for each skill that is being trained.

-Third, keep track of what different skills can do. For artisan's tools specifically there is a section in chapter 2 of Xanathar's guide to everything called "Tool Proficiencies", that section describes some things that different skills can do.

- Fourth, keep track of which skills you are fully proficient with and which you are only partly proficient with.
