You have trained for up-close combat with multiple foes. You've survived unbelievable odds. Standing alone against small armies. Your reaction time is a fraction of that of other warriors. Your mind and body working in perfect tandem to read, calculate, and act upon your enemies around you. You can not use any abilities of this feat if you have 1 or more points of exhaustion or if you suffer a condition that does not allow you to take reactions, such as paralysis or the slow spell.
Opportunity Seized!: When you use Opportunity attack as your reaction, you can use multiple attacks with your attack action as allowed by the monk class. (Cannot use special abilities that require Ki points, such as Stunning Strike, when using Opportunity Attack) Opportunity Attack is only triggered according to your allowed number of reactions, per your level list under the Speed Helps section.
Don't Act, React: If you forfeit your action on your turn, you gain an extra reaction until the start of your next turn.
Speed Helps: At level 4, you gain an extra reaction per round as long as you are within 15 feet of 3 or more foes. The number of reactions increases by 1 at levels 8,12, and 16. These extra reactions can be utilized in addition to your Don't Act ability. If you start off the round next to only one enemy, and two more come into range, you instantly gain access to your extra reactions. Also, if enemies move out of your range, you lose your extra reactions until 3 enemies come within 15ft of you. Note: Anything that hurts you, illusions, constructs, spiritual weapons, creatures, animated objects, anything that makes attacks on you is counted as an enemy, even if it is controlled by someone else. Traps do not count.
Ki is the Key: You may use Ki reaction abilities in addition to your standard one reaction per round, as long as you have the Ki points to spend. Example: Tipsy Sway can be used in addition to an opportunity attack as long as you have the Ki points to spend. A Ki point can be spent to use Deflect Missiles, in addition to your allowed number of reactions per round. In addition, your Deflect Missiles reaction now can be used on multiple missiles in the same round. If an enemy attacks you with a ranged attack and you initiate your Deflect Missiles ability, you may use this on ALL missiles that particular enemy attacks you with on their attack. Example: Fires three arrows, you can roll to deflect all three arrows, but you can only return the attack once, with an additional Ki point spent and if the conditions are met, reducing the damage to 0. Deflect Missiles cannot be used again unless you either spend a Ki point or have an extra reaction per your level. Note: if you only have a total of 2 reactions per round, and have already used them, you have to spend an additional Ki point to use Deflect Missiles to catch a missile, then spend another Ki point to attack with the ensared missile. Also, if two or more enemies attack you with ranged missiles all at once, you can only deflect multiple missiles from a single attacker unless you spend a Ki point for each additional attacker. Example, three enemies all fire two arrows each at you. Your first deflect missiles, used as a free reaction, can deflect both arrows from a single enemy, 2 more Ki points must be spent to attempt to deflect the other 4 arrows, 1 Ki point to deflect two arrows from each enemy. Giving you the ability, with 3 additional Ki points spent, to return one arrow each back at each enemy that fired upon you if the conditions of Deflect Missiles are met and you reduce one arrow of each attacker down to 0 points.
