Your experience in the arcane allows you to manifest your spells by combining material components such as potions or wands, and quickly pacing through tomes of magical information.

You can use a bonus action before casting a spell with a casting time of one action to make an Intelligence (Arcana) check. If your check is equal to or higher than 10 + the spell slot level you plan to expend, you can cast the desired spell without expending a spell slot. You can cast a spell in this way a number of times equal to your spellcasting modifier.

Your DM may determine that an Intelligence (Nature) or Intelligence (Religion) check may be more appropriate depending on your spell choice or spellcasting class.
