Prerequisite: Requires proficency in arcana
Through your studies you have learned of a subtle ancient Arcane language that exists within magic.
- When reading Arcane symbols you learn what spell the symbols represent. For example if you discover ‘glyph of warding’ runes you know that they are from ‘glyph of warding’, the same is true for spells like ‘teleportation circle’. As well with a successful Arcana check you can discover the exact effects of said runes
- You gain the ability to write in a coded message using arcane symbols similar to thieve cant or druidic that only others with this ability can understand
- When you hear an arcane spell being cast you immediately know what spell it is.
