As an action you can use a whip to attempt to grapple a target. If it is a creature it must make a Str saving throw against a DC of 8 + prof. + Dex mod or be grapple by you. If it is an object being worn or carried make a grapple check, but rather than a Str check make an attack roll with your whip. If you succeed you make the object fall to the ground or use your reaction to catch it in your hand. If it is an object that is not worn or carried you may pull it to an open hand.
As a bonus action you may pull a creature you have grappled with your whip up to 5ft closer to you.
