Using extremely rare arcane ores such as chondritic meterorites, spellsteel or adamantium you can create weapons and armor given enough time, ore and access to a forge. Arcane ore is extremely rare and may be painstaking to discover or purchase.
You may forge the following weapons with the right ammount of resources with a successful Smith's Tools check each day against the DC for the weapon. An unsuccessful check will require another day to complete.
500 Gp of Arcane ore - 2 days forge - DC 12

1000 Gp of Arcane ore - 3 days forge - DC 14
+2 Martial weapons
2000 Gp worth of Arcane ore + the required Gemstone - 1 week forge - DC 16

Razor Edge: 100Gp worth of powdered Obsidian - Requires Atunement This weapon rolls 1 extra damage die on a successful hit.
Cosmic Edge: 100Gp Sapphire - Requires Atunement - once per day you may cast the spell Moonbeam at the highest level you have available (level 2 if spell slot level is lower) without expending a spell slot. 1 charge. recharge on a long rest.
Cauterizing Edge: 100Gp Ruby - Requires Atunement - once per day you may cast the spell Aganazzar's Scorcher at the highest level you have available (level 2 if spell slot level is lower) without expending a spell slot. 1 charge. recharge on a long rest.
