Prerequisite: At least 12 levels in the Rogue (Alchemist) subclass

You have honed your alchemical knowledge to the point of incredible efficiency. You can effortlessly craft a potion imbued with the power of any spell at no material cost. This process requires several things in order to complete:

  • Crafting a potion requires 1 hour of focus from you, which you can spend as part of a short or long rest. You can only focus on crafting one potion at a time.
  • You or one of your allies chooses a spell they currently have prepared, and expends a spell slot of a level at which they are currently able to cast that spell. To complete the potion, a total of 3 spell slots must be expended. These spell slots can be from the same creature or multiple creatures, but additional spell slots must be of an equal or higher level to the original spell slot.
  • At the end of the hour, a vial of simple water, dirt, or other cheap material becomes imbued with the power of the chosen spell. As an action, a creature can drink the potion or empty its contents on themselves and cast the spell at the same level as the lowest spell slot expended for it. A creature uses its own spell attack bonus or saving throw DC when casting this spell. If a creature doesn't have a spellcasting ability modifier, Intelligence becomes its spellcasting ability modifier for this casting. (Spell attack bonus = Intelligence modifier + proficiency bonus. Spell save DC = 8 + Intelligence modifier + proficiency bonus).
