Prerequisite: The ability to cast at least 1 spell
You have learned how to incorporate small scale spellcasting into weapon based combat:
You gain +1 to your spell casting ability score.
Choose one cantrip of a spell list that matches your spellcasting modifier from one of the spells you are able to cast to add to your spells prepared.
If you posses the extra attack feature and perform an attack action, you may forgo the following attacks in favour of casting a cantrip once per turn . To use a cantrip this way you can't cast another spell this turn(causing an effect of an already active spell is exempt from this rule).
You can do so a number of times equal to your spellcasting modifier (minimum of 1). After that you need to finish a long rest to regain your uses.
