Your Dexterity increases by 1

Whenever an opponent uses the Attack action against you while you are holding a finesse weapon, you can use your reaction to make a melee attack in response. You must be holding the finesse weapon when the attack is made.

If the attack against you hits, your response attack is at disadvantage,  if it misses by 10 or more it is at advantage.
