You have started on the path to becoming a gunslinger, gaining the following benefits:

  • You gain proficiency with firearms and know how to craft them, given appropriate tools. Its takes a number of days equal to the GP cost / 50 to create a firearm. You can craft one batch of ammunition over a short rest and two batches over a long rest.
  • Being within 5 feet of a hostile creature doesn’t impose disadvantage on your ranged attack rolls.
  • You have three grit points and you regain expended points when you finish a long rest.
  • You may spend your grit points to fuel your gunslinger tricks, but you may not spend more than a single point during a turn.
  • You know two gunslinger tricks from the options below. If a trick requires a saving throw the DC is 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier.

Deadeye
You may spend a grit point at the start of your turn to double your weapon's range and long range until the end of your turn. If you attack at long range while under this effect, you may add 1d6 to a single attacks damage roll.

Deafening Shot
When you make a firearms attack, you can spend a grit point to cause all creatures within 10 feet of you to make a Constitution save or be deafened until the end of their next turn.

Disabling Shot
When you hit a creature with a ranged attack you can spend a grit point to cause it to have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes, until the end of its next turn.

Grazing Shot
When you miss with a ranged attack you may spend a grit point to deal 1d6 damage of the attacks damage type to the creature.

Knockdown Shot
When you hit a creature with a ranged attack, you may spend a grit point to attempt to topple the creature. They make a Strength save and on a failure they are knocked prone.

Next One's For You
As a reaction when you take damage, you may spend a grit point to reload a weapon you are holding.

No Time For This
When you misfire you can spend a grit to ignore it until the start of your next turn.

Penetrating Shot
When you hit a creature that is resistant to your attack, you may spend a grit point to ignore its resistance for that attack.

Point Blank Shot
When you hit a creature within 5 feet of you with a ranged attack, you can spend a grit point to add 1d6 to the attack's damage roll.

Powder Charge
When you make a firearms attack you can spent a grit point to generate a cloud of black powder. Your space and a 5 foot radius around it are heavily obscured until the end of your turn.

Ricochet
When you hit a creature with a ranged attack, you can spend a grit point to deal another creature within 10 feet of it 1d6 damage of the attack's type.

Trick Shot
When you attack a creature behind half or three-quarters cover, you may spend a grit point to give yourself advantage on the attack roll.
