As an action, you may sacrifice your use of your necrotic shroud in order to call out to your former celestial patrons. In return, they grant you one use of the Branding Smite spell. This does not consume any spell slots you may have, and neither the feat nor your necrotic shroud may be used again until you have completed a long rest. If you have expended your use of your necrotic shroud, this feat cannot be used until you have recovered your shroud.
