Curse Of Embers Image

Also called the Blight of the Ashen Shores, This curse shows itself through charred or cracked skin on one's body, showing frothing, magma-like embers underneath, followed usually by glowing eyes, reminecient of molten metals. Usually this curse manifests after contact with fire from an arcane or divine source.

Negative

Constant Heat: Your hot skin and burning body radiate enough heat to set simple cloth or kindling on fire.  you will set any Light Armor you are wearing on fire, unless you have a layer on underneath, which might also set fire. Similarly, if you touch thin or dry wood, that wood will be left to burn or have char-marks, including that of some Simple Melee Weapons.
Hot Nature: Due to being manifested of flame and coals, you have vulnerability to Force and Cold damage, and have disadvantage on all ability checks and saving throws in a cold environment.
Need for Fuel: Every fire needs fuel to stay lit, and so do you. If you do not eat any food within a 2-hour period, whether it be a mere scrap of chicken or a banquet fit for a Hero, you will gain a point of exhaustion.
Need for Air: Every fire needs circulating air to live, and so do you. If you enter a space that is devoid of air circulation (Such as the inside of a Bag of holding, or underwater) Your inner fire will be snuffed out, and you are considered incapacitated until you are taken out of that environment.

Positive

Burning Glow: Your body emits bright light for 10 feet and dim light for 10 feet due to the burning embers under your skin. However, you have disadvantage on Dexterity (stealth) checks.
Pyroclastic Tinkering: Your mastery over this curse has lead you to use your heat in unusual ways. You can cast the Searing Smite spell as if it were a cantrip. However, if this is used five times on one item, that item will shatter due to thermal shock. You can only use this feature three times per long rest.
Fire with Fire: Due to your curse you are immune to Fire Damage, and have resistance to Poison damage.
Fist of Fire: You have an additional 1 fire damage to your unarmed strikes.

Innate Spellcasting: You can cast the following without spell components. Your spellcasting ability is Wisdom, since casting counts on your understanding and control of this curse.
Cantrips
Produce Flames
Fire Bolt
2nd Level

Continual Flame (1/long rest)
Scorching Ray (1/long rest)
