Changeling Corruption

Your exposure to the Daelkyr or some other aberrant force has given you the characteristics of a Doppelganger. You gain the following benefits:

• Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
• Choose one of the following skills in which you have proficiency: Deception, Insight, Intimidation, or Persuasion. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make that uses the chosen proficiency.
• You learn the detect thoughts spell. You can cast this spell once with this trait without expending a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in this way you finish a long rest. You can also cast detect thoughts using spell slots you have of the appropriate level. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for this spell and either way you cast it, it requires no components.
