Your celestial blood runs strong within you, and you have learned to feel the presence of holy and unholiness around you. You can spend a minute focusing yourself, using your action every turn for that minute, to hone your senses against holy and unholy forces for a bit. You must concentrate during the full minute as if concentrating on a spell, or the ability fails and you lose a use of it. If you succeed your eyes visibly glow with holy energy and you gain the following abilities for 10 minutes:
-You can see in magical darkness created by spells of second level or lower within 30 ft of you
-You have advantage on saving throws on illusions created by celestials and fiends and have advantage on checks to determine the true nature of illusions created by celestials and fiends and can determine the true form of creatures transformed, disguised, or hidden by celestial or fiendish magic within 15 ft. of you
-You know if you are on consecrated or desecrated ground
You can use this ability an amount of times per long rest equal to half of your proficiency bonus

Does this mean seeing in magical darkness as if it's bright light?
There's a lot of other things that the wording could be improved on.

Posted Jan 20, 2021You see through the magical darkness like you would through regular darkness, so dim light. That's how the wording says it is. You are able to see through it unlike before, and now your darkvision takes effect, because aasimar have darkvision, so you see darkness as dim light
