Whether you were born mute or rendered so later in life, you have gone an extended period of time unable to speak, and you will likely never speak again. However, you won't let that stop you. You've managed to create a system to convert Verbal Spell Components into Somatic, but that wasn't enough for you. You spent a great deal of time practicing with an oft overlooked cantrip, Minor Illusion, redefining its limits and building yourself a new voice from scratch. Now you can speak again! And only the keenest eye could tell that the words coming from your mouth were made by anything other than your lips.
As an Action, you may cast an auditory Minor Illusion creating a voice, any voice, your voice. This Illusion, however, will last as long as you maintain concentration on it, even if you remain silent, until you fall asleep. You can also make your voice emanate from anywhere within range without needing to recast. However, as this Illusion requires your concentration to maintain it, you will have to drop it in order to cast any other concentration spell. You will also need to drop concentration on the spell if you wish to cast a traditional Minor Illusion cantrip. Luckily, this modified cantrip is still a cantrip, and you can recast it whenever you like!
