Prerequisite: Proficiency with heavy armor and you shall have heavy armor on you for this feat to work and a strength score of 15 or higher .
You can use your armor to deflect strikes that would kill others. You gain the following benefits:

when being hit with a melee or ranged attack you reduce the damage by your class hit dice + your characters constitution modifier + half  your characters level . rounded down if it is an uneven number.

1d12 barbarian, 

1d10  fighter , paladin, blood hunter  and ranger

1d8 bard ,cleric, druid, monk ,rogue, artificer  and warlock ,

1d6 wizard and sorcerer

this feat dosen´t reduces damage taken by psychic attacks.
