Prerequisite: A character must have a CON score of 13 or higher

As an experienced practitioner of magic, you have learned to not only control, but absorb sources of magic.

Taking this feat grants a variety of unique bonuses and options:

1) Any source of magic from an object or non-living source can be attempted to be absorbed into one of two source slots. A character must be touching the source of magic they intend to absorb and make a constitution check of DC 15 at that start of its turn to fully absorb its power. While in this process they are considered paralysed until the start of their next turn.

Eligible sources include non-living sources, active spell effects, artefacts, and other magical items including scrolls. Players may request a source to consume from it and the DM will decide what the source will grant the player on a successful roll. Examples of effects that can be obtained can range from the full power of a specific trait to a temporary spell effect that can be stored for later use.

2) Up to two magic sources can be stored in Source Slots, for a new magic source to be consumed, a slot must be already free. Slots can be freed by willingly releasing the magic and letting it fizzle away permanently, or sources can be violently ejected, destroying the source permanently but dealing a number of d8 damage to a single target as you propel the source at them as an action. Doing this grants the player a number of exhaustion levels as decided by the DM based on the power level of the item, up to a maximum of 3.

3) When a magical source is consumed, the object it was tied to is permanently destroyed, or legendary items are temporarily disabled for at least 100 years while it recharges and becomes a standard item of a relevant type.

Once the source is destroyed it cannot be reclaimed, recreated or recharged in any way. There are absolutely no exceptions to this rule.
