Prerequisite: Dexterity 13 or higher.
When you are wielding only a weapon with which you are proficient in one hand and are not wearing medium or heavy armor, you gain +2 to your AC.
When you are wielding only a weapon with which you are proficient in one hand and are not wearing medium or heavy armor and another creature hits you with a weapon attack, you can use your reaction to add your proficiency bonus to your AC for that attack, potentially causing the attack to miss you or if a creature attacks and misses you with a melee attack, you may make a melee weapon attack against the creature as a reaction.
