You have detailed knowledge of the various kinds of materials
that appear in the world. You automatically recognize and know
the rarity of most woods, textiles, minerals, gems and metals,
and have advantage on checks to recall information about them.
You can also spend 10 minutes examining a structure to
discern its age and locate possible weak points based on
mineralogical clues. When you deal damage to an object you
have examined in this way, you can deal maximum damage
instead of rolling.
