You gain a +1 to Strength when you select this feat.

You can wield a weapon with the heavy weapon property in one hand, and can even use them while dual wielding. Their size and weight means that you take a -2 penalty to hit while wielding heavy weapons in one hand. Weapons with the versatile weapon property use the two-handed damage dice when wielded in one hand. You can use this feat to use a single heavy weapon in one hand or two heavy weapons, one in each hand. This means it is useable with the Dueling, Great Weapon Fighting, or Two Weapon Fighting styles from classes like Fighters, Paladins or Rangers. For you, weapons with the Heavy or Two Handed Weapon properties count as one-handed weapons, although they still count as Heavy for abilities such as Great Weapon Master or the Great Weapon Fighting style.
