Kensei Initiate

+1 to dexterity or strength

You can choose one weapon to be your Kensei weapon if you have not selected any, you gain proficiency with it.  You gain proficiency with calligrapher’s supplies or painter’s supplies.

You gain the ability Kensei Parry: If you make an unarmed strike as part of the Attack action on your turn and are holding a kensei weapon, you can use it to defend yourself.  You gain a +1 bonus to AC until the start of your next turn, while the weapon is in your hand and you aren’t incapacitated.  This ability can not be used in the same turn as the Agile Parry ability.
