Increase your wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20
You gain proficiency with the herbalism kit, if you are already proficient with it, you add double your proficiency bonus to checks you make with it
As an action, you can identify any poison within 5 feet, or by looking at a wound (eg snake bite) you can tell what poison is affecting the person.
During a short rest you are able to make salves equal to your proficiency bonus. These salves heal 1d4+ wisdom modifier as an action. These salves can only be used to heal wounds on living creatures and will not bring a creature back to consciousness, but will stabilize them preventing death. Additionally, if the treated wound caused the creature to make a save against poison and the poison’s effects are still active, the poisoned creature may make an additional saving throw to resist the poison at the time of the application of the salve
An herbalist with this feat would know their way around poison, knowing which types of marks or bites are from poison/venom. The salves they can create are herbs that can be used to clean wounds and stop bleeding, though it can also be used to treat poison. An herbalist would have trained their eyes to detect poison at a glance, and would know to avoid or treat poison.
