You have consulted the service of a minor spirit, which is either a Celestial, Fey, or Fiend. However, instead of directly acting with independence, they enter a form of companionship with you. You gain the following Benefits:
- You learn the Find Familiar spell, and may only cast it once per long rest without expending a spell slot. Charisma is your Spellcasting ability for the spell.
- While you have a familiar, you may forgo an attack when taking the attack action to temporarily ignore the Attack Restriction in place of Familiars, and allow your Familiar to make a single attack. If you have the extra attack feature, you may perform this attack in place of any attacks made during your attack action.
- When you cast a spell and have your familiar, you may forgo the Spellcasting range restriction in place of Familiars, when you do so, you may cast the spell from the position of your familiar regardless of the range of the spell as if you yourself were the origin point.
