You have focused most strongly on chilling spells and frosty magics, thereby growing accustomed to the frigidness of the freezing mystical arts. You receive the following benefits:

  • You gain access to the Frost Bolt cantrip and can cast it as a Bonus Action.
  • You do not suffer from any adverse affects from being in extreme cold temperatures, though you are still subject to difficult terrain caused by ice and snow.
  • While in an environment of extreme cold, or otherwise in a state of extreme cold (up to GM discretion), when you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that deals cold damage and requires either an attack roll or a saving throw, you may choose to gain Advantage on the attack roll or impose Disadvantage on the saving throw for one creature of your choice that you can see; if such a spell has both an attack roll and a saving throw, you cannot gain Advantage on the attack roll and also impose Disadvantage on the saving throw in the same cast. Once you have used this part of the feature, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
  • When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that deals acid, fire, lightning, or thunder damage, you may choose to have that spell deal cold damage instead for that casting. Once you have used this part of the feature a number of times equal to your spellcasting ability modifier, you must finish a short or long rest before you can use it again.
