When magic returned to casters after having disappeared you felt a profound change. Wild magic caused by your unnatural connection to the weave resulted in your mind being changed forever. This caused downsides but also unexpected benefits that you've found out about over time.

• You can recognise the verbal components of a spell you know of, no matter what language it is cast in.
• You can accurately recall anything that has happened within the last month (after acquiring Changed Mind) and by studying an object intensely you can commit its exact shape and properties to your memory in perfect detail forever.
• By focusing your mind intensely you can faintly see magic. This provides the visual benefits of Detect Magic for 6 seconds, but none of the other benefits, like being able to know the school of magic. Doing this however brings on terrible headaches.
