Prerequisite: Strength 13 or higher
Thanks to long hours of practice, you gain the following benefits:
- You are considered proficient when making a ranged attack with an improvised weapon, as well as when making a ranged attack with a melee weapon without the thrown property.
- You may use a d6 instead of a d4 when calculating damage for thrown improvised weapons, and may add your Strength modifier when rolling to hit and damage. At the DM's discretion, light enough objects may use your Dexterity modifier instead of Strength.
- When you make a ranged attack with a melee weapon that does not have the thrown property, you may use the weapon's normal damage die. If the weapon has the finesse property, you may use your Dexterity modifier for both attack rolls and damage, otherwise use your Strength modifier.
