The Fey have few gifts to offer the mortals who make themselves allies. The most distinct if of these gifts is The Blessing of Joy. A boon that can only be bestowed by an Archfey of the Summer Court of the Fairie Queen. Few adventures have been offered the chance to receive it. Those who take the Blessing of Joy became known as Acquaiphian, also known as Fey Souls. These Fey Souls are tasked with bringing peace and love to the Feys, and keeping a balance between fairies and the inhabitants of other planes.

The process to become a Fairy Soul requires the individual to complete a challenge presented by the Archfey. Upon completing the challenge, a seven-day ritual is initiated, during which the transformation takes place inside a chrysalis. Upon completing, the character gains the following:

Creature Type Shift: Your creature type is replaced with Fey. You also learn to speak, read, and write Sylvan, in addition to either Elvish or Gnomish.

Fey-like Charisma: Increase your Charisma score by 2. Your maximum for this score is now 22, if not higher.  

Unarmored Defense: While not wearing any armor, your Armor Class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit. 

Joyous Aura: You are immune to the charm and frightened conditions. Allies within 30 feet have advantage against the charmed and frightened condition. Allies that are already charmed or frightened have the condition suspended until they leave your range. Enemies within your range and who can see or hear you have disadvantage against charm spells and effects originating from you.

PeaceKeeper And Peace Maker: Fey of the Good alignment regard you with great favor. Often offering aid in the form of shelter, information, or food. Fey of the Evil alignment are wary of your presence. Evil Fey with a CR equal to 1/3 your character level will either flee or become submissive. Those with a CR higher will seek to attack if given the choice. It is up to your DM how Fey respond to your presence.

Joyous Familiar: You have grown a gilded flower on the top of your head. You can cast the Summon Fey Spirit spell at 3rd level once per Long rest.
