Prerequisite: Requires proficiency in martial ranged weapons
Before attacking with a ranged weapon you are proficient with, you can choose to take a penalty to the attack roll. If you do, declare one of the following effects (in addition to any damage):
- (-8) You're aiming for the head: on a successful hit, the target takes +1d6 damage.
- (-10) You're aiming for the eye: on a successful hit, the target is blinded until the end of its next turn.
- (-5) You're aiming for a hand (or arm): on a successful hit, the target drops whatever it was holding in that hand/arm.
- (-5) You're aiming for a leg; on a successful hit, the target is knocked prone.
You may suggest a different effect and/or target before making the attack. If you do, the GM has final veto over whether you can use these, on a case-by-case basis.
