variant human or custom lineage just makes you god and also ANY CLASS can become god at level 4
(just realized after i made this comment that this feat means warlocks would only obey their patron until they reached level 4 and that would make no smart patron in a world where this feat exists allow their warlocks to reach level 4)
Wish at will is one thing. Wish at will with NO ACTION REQUIRED is another entirely. If your turn in combat ever arrives, you can just cast infinite spells of 8th level or lower without using your action. Keep casting 8th-level fireballs until everyone is dead.
They changed it so wish always succeeds so you could just wish to become almighty or wish for stuff like all of your enemies dying or everyone loving you
I would tell you everything that's wrong with this feat, but I'm afraid you might smite me. Or send a plague of frogs. Or something equally-but-vaguely godlike.
Although since it wasn't mentioned in the Feat description, I assume if you use it do anything but to emulate an 8th-level or lower spell, you are weakened like the description of the Wish spell (Player's Handbook, pg.289 - last paragraph of spell description). Which means that after using it once, if you cast any spells (including this one) you take 1d10 necrotic damage per level of the spell (so using this spell again before you take a long rest is 9d10 of unmitigatable necrotic damage). Also your Strength drops to 3 for the next 2d4 days. And finally, after using this feat, there is a 33% chance that you never get to use it ever again.

Posted Nov 23, 2022the implications of this feat is way to busted. any peasant can plegde aligence to a god, become a cleric, level up to level 4 and then become god.
and if you are lucky enough to be a human then boom, you are a god.
I feel like this has very little point and just ruins the game for everyone.
