Prerequisite: Cannot be of Lawful Good alignment
Your covetous malice has made you a living avatar of the sin of Envy. You gain the following benefits:
- Increase your Intelligence or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20
- You have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) and Charisma (Deception) checks.
- When a creature hits you with an attack, you can use a reaction to learn what ability scores the creature has that are better than your own ability scores. You can choose one of these scores and reduce the creature's score by 1d4, while increasing your own score by the same number. This feature lasts for one minute. If you sue this ability again before the minute is over, the new score change automatically replaces the previous change. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses on a long rest.

Posted Dec 19, 2020You may want to rework this, lowering an opponent’s ability score is pretty overpowered. May I suggest changing it to be able to view what scores of your opponent are higher than your own, for example:
Dm: “The thief hits you for 3 slashing damage.”
Player: “I use my ‘sin of envy’ feat to view their ability scores.”
Dm: “His strength and wisdom are higher than yours.”
Just suggesting ideas on how to balance this.
